Rogue Territory Stanton – Initial Fit

So after several pairs of denim, sizing, wearing, fitting, stretching etc…

I have found something I really like and fits outstanding out of the gate… The Stanton’s are (for me) the perfect mix of a heavier weight denim, that is still comfortable, well fitting for any occasion, and with just enough details to brag…

just noticed how wide the legs look in these photos…. the denim was lying on the ground flat all day before this… looks like they are huge… most def not though… besides, I need them to be skinny for my thong….

I just purchased a pair of these and you are correct with everything you said. The fit is perfect. Im 6 1 and about 190lbs. I like selvage on the fly and the pen pocket detail. I cant want to see how they wear in.

Great choice, both fitting and color! Especially the color…

thanks, they are easily some of the best jeans I’ve ever worn… right out of the gate they have a feel and construction to them that lets you know they are substantial yet forming to you. Karl has some great denim cuts and fabrics… he’s a top denim maker in my eyes… and no he’s not a client and no he doesn’t pay me…just a fan.

looks like an a.p.c repro. what are your thoughts on that?

  16. Ryan Oct 26, 2010 at 11:17 am #

my thoughts are that they fit better, they have nicer details, and better denim (14 oz.), but thats my opinion…

I’ve had my eye on a pair of these for a while. I have a question about fit…since these are sanforized did you go one size down?

  18. Ryan Oct 27, 2010 at 9:22 pm #

    yup one full size, I’m a 31/32 measured and bought a 30 tagged size…

Ryan: I finally got a pair of Stantons, they arrived this afternoon (from Urban Outfitters: on sale & Next Day delivery…who knew?!). Sizing down to the 32″ was the way to go. I put them on right away and after just a few hours I can already tell they’re going to fit perfectly in a week or two.
