Badass, not much else to say here… Joe told me he did an ocean soak on the east coast about three months ago when the beach was a normal visit. That’s it, no wash… but they might get bath soon…
Thanks Joe. - Ryan

These are stunning.
the jeans actually suck, it’s all my camera and contrast… he’s worn them once… poser.
I too have been caught between the rock and hard place that is well-worn denim vs. stench… Delay laundering our denim and have them age beautifully or let the aroma win and resign oneself to failure. Sadly, on my last pair, I lost the battle.
Great job forgoing the wash, Joe. You win.
It’s hard to decide, but that mustache may be more badass than those jeans.
Picture 4 rocks.
These look a little tight in terms of fit. i like that the only wash was in the ocean but i cant imagine it would feel as comfortable after drying.
Love the belt
Absolutely perfect fade…but, they do look a little tight across the hips. The fly, IMO, should not pull apart when buttoned.
Nice fade but too tight. Fly shouldn’t be that distressed.
Joe…The jeans look great…..
I wanted to drop a line here to let everyone know that Joe was one of the first guys to get this “New Fabric” when it came out. We here at I+W learned very quickly that this fabric didn’t stretch as much as the fabric we had previously. This is why Joe’s jeans look a little tight, we placed him in a size that would have worked prior to the debate……bless your heart Joe……but hey, as long as the he feels good in them……that’s really all that matters!
thanks
matt
Wow….verrrry niiiiice, Danielson. Ready for pair numero dos?
Love,
Ian @ I+W
yes they look tight in all the right spots…omg i think im getting turned out !
what the hell are we talking about here… let’s move onto denim folks…
like the honeycombs around the knees.
agree with tightness issue.
I had the same issue with the tightness around the fly. I got one of the first “new fabric” examples the day they came in last year. When I was trying them on I was told that they would stretch like my APCs; they didn’t budge but I should have known. After months of torture I couldn’t take it anymore. I love the style and look but I think I’m going to suck it up and buy a bigger pair. Outstanding jeans though and unbelievable service in the store. Can’t wait to stop back by.
Which Indy boots are those? Whiskey shell?
Natural Chromexcel
Tyler, if they gave you wrong advice at the store about sizing and you found they never stretched as they said, shouldn’t you get a replacement for free? Perhaps expectations are different in other parts of the country but here in the Nothwest that would be the expectation. The fade and the fabric especially the honeycomb are outstanding but the fit is absolutely unacceptable. Too tight through the hips. Fly stretch is all one sees.
Andy, I don’t expect a replacement. They’ve been worn many times. I was just pointing out that I wish I had gotten a bigger pair. The moral of the story is don’t size down too drastically on these as the top block won’t stretch much. And the service is unparalleled, they have super friendly/knowledgable staff.
Fly tighter than blue angels
dudes starin’ at my crotch from five angles
Jockin’ the way my tie dangles
All cuz my jeans superior
and you mad cuz your genes is inferior
cuffed bottoms show the interior
got gold buckles for the cash
waxed stache on smash
quick dash aldens on my feet
concrete or brick street
cuz my family gotta eat
The fade’s great–coming along nicely, Joe. Well done.
The color of these looks remarkable. Glad I read the comments about the tight fit— makes sense.
@ Dave, Amazing!
@ Joe, How do you get your phone out of you pocket? I have a pair of Jcrew selvedge 501s that are almost that tight and I struggle getting my phone w/o unbuttoning, haha!
The buttons on the fly are holding on for dear life.
