This is my second pair of KMW’s, but the first with the 1980 cut – They’re straight in the leg all the way down with a fairly low rise. Out of the box these things were stiff, really stiff, so I was eager to break them in. I tried on the 33″ and 32″ to compare fits – the 33 fit exactly right out off the rack, so I sized to the 32″ and they’ve stretched well, but not quite as much as I was anticipating. I’m 5′9″ and 180 pounds, so I need something with a little more “room” than other brands, and these fit the bill nicely.
The color is unique and there’s a clear handmade quality to the fabric with tiny indigo fabric loops on the inside of the denim. I’ve been wearing these a lot, and hard, and there is basically no fading, yet.
I’m excited to see how these turn out, as I’ll be wearing mine on occasion. #25
