Just picked up a pair at their store in Nashville today. Can't wait to see how they age over the next few months.

As most people on this site, I'm very persnickety when it come to my jeans. Ian & I talked it out and I ended up purchasing a pair of Willie's over the phone. I am very surprised I pulled the trigger without trying them on. However, Ian spent over an hour on the phone with me and I realized I was in good hands. Give him a call, he will hook you up.

Great job Ian!

Thanks again,

Sean,
I am wearing 31's. They were pretty tight when I first put them on. It was difficult to sit comfortably for a little while, but I made it through and they now have plenty of room in the waist without being overly stretched out (which is what happened with my APC's). I'm 6'2" 190 with a 32-33 inch waist. I've seen Ian in action and he is a master at getting people into the correct size for their frame. I'm guessing that he probably put you in the right pair. Next time I post I'll certainly do some fit shots. Thanks for your questions.

Joe, just purchased a pair of I+W's this weekend from Ian (should be arriving Wednesday!)...out of curiousity what is your height/weight? I noticed you are wearing a size 31 (waist), I also got 31's (per recommendation of Ian). How tight were they when you first put them on? How do they fit now? Would you have gone with a different size from the get-go? On your next post can you throw in a pic or two with the jeans on? Cheers, Sean.

Joe,

These are looking great. Are these the early 12oz version (318 fabric) or the newer 14oz matsui fabric?

Rossell-

You can pick these imogene+willie jeans up from their store in Nashville. http://imogeneandwillie.com/contact.html

A lot of the other brands are available at Self Edge (http://www.selfedge.com/) Context (contextclothing.com/) or Blue in Green.
